HOW TO LEAVE A GIFT

1. DECIDE ON A GIVING LEVEL THAT IS SUITABLE FOR YOU
After considering the needs of your family and loved ones, you can make a bequest of the remaining assets to The White Shadow Foundation. Alternatively, you can make a specific bequest, which could include; a portion of your estate, a sum of money, property, stocks and shares, works of art or valuable collections, a life insurance policy, annuities or trust.

2. CONSIDER YOUR INTERESTS
Perhaps you would like to support one of our five (5) specific areas of benevolent relief that is meaningful to you and your family. When you leave a bequest to The White Shadow Foundation, you can specify how you would like your funds to be used, or let the board of directors allocate the funds on your behalf, to an area of highest need at that time.

3. PREPARING YOUR WILL
It’s simple. You can include a bequest to The White Shadow Foundation when you write your Will. If you already have a Will, you can add a legal provision to include the bequest. For assistance on Will writing and amendment, we recommend that you seek independent legal advice.

HERE IS AN EXAMPLE OF THE TYPE OF LANGUAGE YOU CAN USE:
“I bequeath The White Shadow Foundation Ltd, ABN 306 139 017 14 , the sum of ______________ dollars {or the percentage of the residual estate}, to be applied for the purposes of ______________ (or) by The White Shadow Foundation in such a manner as its Directors may determine. I direct that the receipt in writing of an authorised officer of The White Shadow Foundation shall be deemed proof of payment”.
