OUR STRATEGY

We launch our new strategic plan into a radically changed world to the one of just a few short years ago. Life is increasingly uncertain for millions of people. In these challenging times, the crucial role of our dedicated partners and donors is proving more important than ever before. Research has shown that philanthropists are increasingly looking to support fewer charities, but more deeply and over prolonged periods. Duly assessing the outcomes delivered by a NFP and its commitment to financial stability are important considerations for funders. Allocating non-trivial financial gifts provide our valued supporters with an incredible sense of fulfilment and joy from being able to help others. With sustained foresight we are developing a community service project with the capacity to generate income fulfilling our annual operating budget.

Running parallel with our ATO Deductible Gift Recipient status, our steps to completion allows donors to tax plan multiple years in advance. We also welcome larger one-off gifts to achieve the Sanctuary’s opening date sooner. Streamlining our goal, and in unison with land parcel acquisition and various building cost stages, pledged contributions can be made in quarterly instalments within each financial year. A three year scope of work will enable our life-saving DV Sanctuary vision to come to fruition. Strategic financial support will establish the facility’s longevity for multiple generations. Donors are invited to register interest with us and select which part of the project they wish to participate in.

The charity also produces hard-hitting documentary films which perform a powerful role in exposing inequality and the vast complexities faced by disadvantaged people. Our work in this space promotes education, social justice and compassion. We connect with supremely talented story-tellers, educators, influential policy-makers and local community groups, further enriching our aim and philanthropic purpose. Qualifying donors are invited onto the set and also receive their Executive Producer screen credits on our slate of documentary projects. The movies are culturally responsible and licensed to mainstream global streaming platforms through our preferred distribution partner Gravitas Ventures, LLC. Our charity production arm is represented by Indie Public Relations, expert sales agents and law firm Donaldson/Callif in Beverly Hills.
