Driving Force.
Mission
We simply show up in people's lives when they need help the most. Provide practical resources and financial grants to individuals and other NFP's doing exceptional work in the local community.
Vision.
To serve with humility and be a generous leader in the charity space. Positively change the trajectory of countless lives with our social impact giving and remain loyal to championing the value of life.
Origin Story.
Our Founder and CEO Andrew Douglas, was working in the film industry. Bouncing back and forwards between Australia and Los Angeles for years. Juggling family, kids, travel and life was tricky. Especially having a strong faith in God, yet suffering in silence with depression....
Cont.
Things got harder when his marriage ended. He lost all contact with his two kids for several years and his eight year old daughter was killed two weeks after they reconnected. Reality check. Life is short. He decided if it's still worth living, then it's better to help people and be there for them. The White Shadow Foundation was born in 2022.
An Ideal Future.
To see a world where people are treated fairly, with kindness and without discrimination. Where kids can roam safely, and come home to restored, healthy family dynamics.
