The WHITE SHADOW FOUNDATION recognises the value of human life, so we champion all women to know that they are loved, respected and created with a purpose. Our strong relationships and resources enable women in domestic violence situations; a renewed hope, safety, their independence, and self-empowerment. We closely align with organisations and women who are seeking an exit strategy. This process facilitates a resetting and reconnection, which is achieved through support and referral services to women requiring assistance to rebuild their lives. The focus of our partner services is to assist women as they grow through self-development, and implement goals associated with training or employment. The Better Futures Program, developed by one of our funding grantees, is a six-week intensive series of practical workshops which help vulnerable women to focus and develop their plans for tomorrow. They are then assisted to identify and commence training and/or employment, supported by mentors.
