Andrew is a humble man who started The White Shadow Foundation out of a broken heart for the lost and destitute. He also founded an independent film production company in 2012. Above and beyond his responsibilities at the charity, Andrew is a screenwriter, director, and a member of the International Documentary Association, and was invited to join the Documentary Producer’s Alliance in 2019. He is also a part of the Sundance Institute's Collab program. After its premiere screenings at some of the larger festivals, his last film Ten Million Throwaways was twice nominated for best U.S. and International Feature Documentary at the 2021 Seattle Film Festival and was subsequently acquired by global distributor Gravitas Ventures releasing in dozens of countries. Prior to getting married (and then divorced), Andrew spent several years travelling extensively around Australia and the world surfing with a few sponsors. He found himself enjoying the waves and different cultures in places like Hawaii, Fiji, New Zealand, Mexico, Tahiti, America, Costa Rica and PNG.
